We are able to offer these soulful instruments for under $200. All models of Lanikai ukes, the most popular student uke we have ever sold, are on display. Every player on the go must have a FLUKE! or Flea in their quiver! These two unique ukes have better tone than instruments twice the price. Lehua ukes are sought after for their balanced tone and craftsmanship. Akulele is the coolest instrument from South America. These are our main lines, but many other makes, including Martin, Kamaka, Hilo, Applause (by Ovation), and Goldtone Banjo Uke, are represented. Introduction to the Ukulele Workshop Taught by Jumpin' Jim Beloff. You'll learn how to tune, hold, and strum your uke. You'll also learn some of the most basic chords. Within minutes you'll be playing and singing lots of easy songs. Bring a GCEA tuned uke and be prepared to have a lot of fun! Amaze your family! Astound your friends! Uke Can!

Intermediate Uke Workshop This workshop is for more experienced players. Taught by Jumpin' Jim Beloff, the emphasis here will be on more challenging arrangements and chord solos. Bring your GCEA tuned uke and be prepared to have a lot of fun. Also, time will be set aside at the end for anyone who wants to perform a song. See ya there!

He has also recorded two CDs of original songs performed on the ukulele (Jim's Dog Has Fleas, and For the Love of Uke), produced Legends of Ukulele, a CD compilation for Rhino Records, and made a how-to-play video entitled The Joy of Uke.

In 1999 he introduced a new, colorful and low-cost ukulele called the FLUKE that has won admirers all over the world. In four years 9000 FLUKE ukuleles have been sold. In November 1999 he premiered his Uke Can't Be Serious concerto for ukulele and symphony orchestra. It was commissioned and performed with the Wallingford (Connecticut) Symphony. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and business partner, Liz Beloff, and more ukuleles than he cares to admit.
